Marina at Seclusion Bay Resort
Located near the beach and cottages, the marina at
Seclusion Bay Resort is your gateway to the wonders of
Okanagan Lake.
Okanagan Lake is the largest lake in the area, running 120
km (about 74.5 miles) from the city of Vernon in the north,
to the city of Penticton in the south. The lake's average
depth is 250 feet, and at its deepest point, it reaches an
amazing 800 feet!
The lake is home to its own mysterious sea monster the First
Nations people call Ogopogo. Many have claimed to see it so
if you go out on the lake, be sure to bring your video
camera!
In fact, local legend has it that the Ogopogo calls a place
on the lake called “Rattlesnake Island” home. The little
island is visible from the resort and only a few minutes
away by power boat.

north brings you to the city of Kelowna, where you will find a public wharf located
close to the downtown core. From here you could tie
up your boat and visit some of the local
attractions.
Directly across the lake from the
resort is the enormous Okanagan Regional Park.
It covers nearly the entire visible east side of the
lake. Here you'll find water access only camp
grounds, quiet beaches and moorage points.
Tubing, wakeboarding, water
skiing and jet skiing can all be enjoyed at
Seclusion Bay Resort. Anything you need to
enjoy these activities can be rented nearby.
